Our oil-based cleanser Fancy Face gets to work dissolving the oil-soluble stuff (like makeup and sunscreens) by acting as a solvent and binds with those other oils.
Then, Properly Clean targets the water-soluble stuff on your face, like sweat and dirt. Since the main ingredient is water, these types of cleansers tend to have a lighter feel that leaves skin clean and ready for skincare.
Without double cleansing, you run the risk of leaving behind impurities on your face—clogging your pores and making it difficult for the rest of your skincare routine to actually penetrate the skin.

I was reluctant because it is an oil, but paired with the fancy cloth thingy, it does work and it does a really good job. I don't like residue of the day on my face so it's great to get the sunscreens or other things off. has a gentle nice smell too. Very happy with this. I also use properly clean - not always at the same time but can recommend that one too.

This is hands down the best cleanser I've used in a long time. My skin loves BHA but hates niacinamide l and it's been really difficult to find an affordable cleanser that has BHA without niacinamide. This cleanser cleans my skin, helps reduce my blackheads and keeps me from getting oily. It also doesn't sting any broken skin when I use it which is very helpful since my acne often results in broken skin.
