What’s The Difference Between Go-To’s Sheet Masks

What’s The Difference Between Go-To’s Sheet Masks

Yep! You read that right. Masks. As in plural. We’re a two sheet mask household now.

We’ve finally doubled our sheet mask repertoire, with the new, decidedly amazing: Very Luxe Lifting Mask. Created by the same team of skincare experts that brought you the cult-classic Transformazing, this snatching sequel has been formulated to lift, plump, and hydrate.

Both masks deliver rejuvenated skin in 10 minutes. Both will spook your flatmates/children/partner when worn. And both have been drenched in a selection of skin-loving ingredients, designed to boost your complexion in mere minutes.

So which one should you use for [insert big event you have coming up]? We’re so glad you asked.

Why We Made A Second Sheet Mask

Our Transformazing sheet mask is widely (and correctly) recognised as a perfect sheet mask. Brightening, illuminating, and hydrating, it delivers reliably radiant skin in 10 minutes. It is, objectively, great. And a very hard act to follow.

Since Transformazing entered the chat all the way back in 2018, our skincare collection has massively evolved. We’ve introduced new formulas, completed clinical trials, and most importantly: Built out routines that cater to a diverse range of skin concerns. So when it came to creating a new sheet mask, it made sense to keep leaning in that direction.

We had absolutely no interest in making Transformazing 2.0, and frankly, it just didn’t need one. Instead, we took our well-proven knack for sheet masks and combined it with the replenishing, restorative ingredients and skin-lifting goodness found in one of our most beloved, clinically-backed formulas, Very Luxe Face Cream

Think of Very Luxe Lifting Mask not as a replacement for Transformazing but as her equally great sibling. This is: Very Luxe Face Cream in sheet mask form, focused specifically on replenishment, plumping, and lifting. The kind of mask you reach for when “glow” isn’t what you’re searching for, and you want bounce and firmness, fast. In other words, skin that looks fresh from a day spa.

So What’s The Difference?

Quite a lot, actually. They’re both serum-drenched sheet masks, made from 100% bamboo, and designed to be worn for 10 minutes. And that’s about it.

The Mask Off

Transformazing is an illuminating sheet mask, packed with ingredients designed to boost your skin’s radiance and glow. Very Luxe Lifting Mask has instead been packed with ingredients to firm, plump, and reboot your skin.

What Does Transformazing Do

Brightens and balances: Transformazing is loaded with niacinamide, a brightening all-star that works to even out skin tone while regulating excess oil (which can contribute to congestion and dullness). By refining and rebalancing the skin, the mask helps light reflect more evenly for that smooth, luminous, lit-from-within glow.

Smooths and evens skin tone: Included in Transformazing is Kakadu Plum extract, an antioxidant powerhouse that helps defend against dulling environmental stress while visibly enhancing skin luminosity. This one works to brighten and even skin tone so light reflects more uniformly across the skin surface—instead of catching on pigmentation, dull patches, or uneven texture.

ExfoliatesThe finger lime extract adds a natural source of AHAs (very gentle exfoliators) to the mask that very gently helps sweep away dull, tired surface cells. This subtle exfoliation helps reveal fresher, smoother skin underneath, which boosts clarity and dials up visible radiance.

What Does Very Luxe Lifting Mask Do

Reinforces the skin barrierThis mask has been formulated with three essential ceramides (NP, AP and EOP) that you know and love from Very Luxe Face Cream to reinforce the skin barrier and reduce transepidermal water loss. For skin that looks smoother, plumper and far more resilient. In lifting terms? Ceramides are the scaffolding. They offer structural support to help your skin look firm and plump instead of tired and blah.

Seriously plumps: The peptide in this mask works to visibly soften expression lines—especially across the forehead and around the eyes—so skin looks smoother and subtly tighter. By helping relax the look of those micro-tensions we carry in our faces (emails, deadlines, slow walkers), peptides create a firmer, more lifted appearance.

Thoroughly hydrates: Very Luxe Lifting Mask is packed with 4D hyaluronic to drench the skin at multiple levels, delivering an immediate surge of hydration and visibly plumps out fine lines. Hydrated skin cells swell, which makes skin look fuller, firmer and more lifted. Cheeks appear juicier. Fine lines soften. The whole face looks like it’s had eight hours of sleep and a multi-week tropical holiday.

Brightens too: Along with the peptides and the ceramides and the hyaluronic, Very Luxe Lifting Mask also includes niacinamide to help boost skin radiance and banish dullness. The result is a truly astonishing visage.

Which Go-To Sheet Mask Should You Use?

To recap: Transformazing makes your face look brighter and glowier. This is your radiance reset, designed to gently exfoliate, brighten, and even tone, so your skin reflects light better and looks fresher immediately.

Very Luxe Lifting Mask will make your face look tighter and juicier. This is your plumping and firming reboot. It deeply hydrates, cushions, and smooths, so your skin looks firmer, bouncier, and subtly lifted immediately.

Can I Use Both?

Technically, yes! But be strategic about it.

Start with Transformazing to brighten and reset. Then follow with Very Lifting Face Mask. Since your skin is now fresh and receptive, the ceramides, 4D hyaluronic, and peptides can really get to work plumping, smoothing.
