An exfoliating toner that clears skin, reduces shine, and shrinks the appearance of large pores. Made with non-irritating willow bark extract and a strong but tolerable 2% BHA for happy, healthy skin.

HERO INGREDIENTS

WILLOW BARK EXTRACT

Derived from the willow tree. A natural exfoliant that contains salicylic acid and helps the skin shed dead skin cells and clear pores.

TASMANIAN PEPPER LEAF EXTRACT

Derived from the native Australian Tasmanian Kakadu Plum tree, this extract is rich in antioxidants and vitamins.

SALICYLIC ACID

A BHA which is more oil soluble than AHAs, to better penetrate oily pores. It also has an antibacterial effect which makes it a perfect choice for blemishes and acne prone skin.

ALOE VERA LEAF JUICE

Rich in vitamins C, E and beta carotene, aloe vera is highly nourishing, soothing on the skin, helps to reduce flaking, and restores suppleness to dry skin.

BETAINE

Derived from sugar beets this ingredient helps the skin retain moisture by reducing TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and creating a stronger skin barrier.

BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-1

A thickening agent that has skin conditioning properties and supports skin hydration, thanks to its water binding ability.

GLYCERIN

A 100% plant-derived ingredient that is an excellent humectant, reducing moisture loss by holding water within the surface layers of the skin to prevent skin from drying out.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE

A preservative which protects Go-To products from spoiling by inhibiting microbial growth.

PROPANEDIOL

An excellent humectant, similar to glycerin, which adds moisture to the skin and reduces moisture loss.

SALICYLIC ACID

A BHA which is more oil soluble than AHAs, to better penetrate oily pores. It also has an antibacterial effect which makes it a perfect choice for blemishes and acne prone skin.

This BHA is an excellent and natural acidic source best known for dissolving blackheads, clearing breakouts, and banishing unwanted congestion. We’ve also added Tasmanian Pepper fruit extract to calm cranky skin and reduce redness while this exfoliating toner carries out its deeply clarifying duties.

Equal parts clearing and calming, you can comfortably add this product to your daily routine and see results without irritation.

You can use this one as an effective spot treatment too! Dabbing directly on pimples or breakouts to reduce bacteria and inflammation in that area alone.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use daily sunscreen while using this product. Or else!

After cleansing, apply exfoliating toner by lightly soaking a cotton pad and sweeping across the face, avoiding the under-eye area. Do not rinse. Follow on with serums, oils, creams, and SPF.

After cleansing, apply exfoliating toner by lightly soaking a cotton pad and sweeping across the face, avoiding the under-eye area. Do not rinse. Follow on with serums, oils, creams, and spoonfuls of Nutella.

*You do you! Once a day might be enough! We recommend starting slow, incorporating Clarifying Exfoliator into your routine every other day, before working up to daily double use.

It's quite common to go through a kind of 'purge' when trying new products as your skin goes through a detox-like period which can manifest itself as dryness or breakouts. But! Gentle but thorough!
I have quite sensitive skin and using this at least once a day keeps my skin happy and clear. It’s not a tough exfoliator but enough to use it routinely. My skin is clear and supple.
