    Not great

Thick and leaves a shine which I do find with all mineral sunscreens. Not for me.

    Not for oily skin

I like the smell and texture of this sunscreen and it goes on easily, but I find it too greasy for my skin type. It feels a bit thick and gives me unwanted shine.

    Shine free Matt Sunscreen

I tend to have a oily t-zone & using the regular skin zinc or suncreams for the face by mid-morning I’d have an oily nose & forehead that I’d have to blot with a tissue. Nifty Fifty Mineral dries matte & there is no oil all day! It’s perfect for combination/oily skin!

    Lovely

Great texture and not too greasy like most mineral spf’s. Nice under makeup too. Just wish it didn’t contain fragrance.

    Pills everytime

I got this sunscreen as part of a free spf promotion so sadly I don’t think I can return it. It pills terribly with any kind of moisturizer or serum applied first, even when I waited 20 mins in between. It’s not really usable.

Hi Fiona! It's quite possible that what you are experiencing is your SPF 'piling' or balling-up. It's a pretty common occurrence and has to do with the ability of a product to be absorbed by the skin; the less a product is absorbed, the more likely it is to pill or ball-up. We'd recommend exfoliating 2-3 times a week to slough off any gross stuff and allow all of your other products to penetrate more deeply and work harder. If you'd like to chat further, do shoot us an email!
